Frimley Green Traffic Lights - Update

The Traffic Lights proposals as a result of the Deepcut development frustrations are still rumbling on.

A meeting was set up and one of the attendees was Michael Gove MP but then the General Election was called and council officers decided that due to purdah rules council officers would not be able to participate in the meeting. As they were a fundamental part of the proceedings it was decided to call off the meeting which would be rescheduled at a later date.

I was tasked with setting up that meeting which has proved incredibly difficult to arrange. This is mainly due to the seniority and exceptionally busy schedules of the attendees but yesturday I finally managed to nail down the essential attendees and a date has been set in October.

As soon as we have had the meeting I will update via this email list and my facebook page as to the outcome.
