New Play Area - Alma Gardens Deepcut

New Play Area - Alma Gardens Deepcut

Yesturday I visited the Garrison Community Centre at the invitation of Army Welfare Services who facilitated an event to display the plans for the new play area at Alma Gardens, Deepcut. This are forms part of the Service Families Area (or Married Quarters) which is where the military families live.

The play area there is in desperate need of a refresh so the plans on display will be very welcome news to families in the Deepcut area.

There were two sets of plans on display and visitors to the exhibition were asked to vote on which one they liked the best.

The event facilitators advised me that the funding for the play area has come from the Armed Forces Covenant.

I took an expert in the field of play areas with me to advise me. My 10 year old daughter Izzy.

This morning I posted pictures of the exhibition on my facebook page.
